The cookies we use to run the site and, with your consent, to gather visitor statistics.

Cookies and similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage) store small amounts of data on your device. We use necessary local storage to save your consent choice. Additional storage for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity is only activated once you consent to analytics.
2. The cookies we use
Our site uses the following storage categories:
- Necessary cookies: This category stores the consent version, your analytics choice and the date of your choice in the browser's local storage. It does not perform analytics or advertising tracking and is always active. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary).
- Analytics & performance cookies: If you consent, Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity are activated. Pseudonymous device, browser, page-view and usage information may be processed so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. Microsoft Clarity also creates session recordings and heatmaps. These tags stay inactive until you consent. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

- Links page views into one session under a pseudonymous ID, for usage heatmaps and session recordings. Loaded only after you allow analytics. Microsoft may also set cookies on its own domains (CLID, MUID and others).
- Retention
- _clck: 1 year, _clsk: 1 day. Microsoft does not state a lifetime for the cookies on its own domains (CLID, MUID and others).
_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR, SMGoogle Tag Manager is the tag delivery system and does not require a separate analytics cookie. Search Console ownership verification does not set analytics cookies.
3. How to manage cookies
On your first visit, the privacy window lets you choose necessary storage only, accept all, or set analytics separately. You can reopen the cookie settings at any time from this page or from the link at the bottom of the page. Your choice is kept for up to 12 months, as long as the policy version does not change.
If you do not give or later withdraw consent to analytics, the website still works fully. No further analytics data is collected, and the Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies the website can delete itself are removed. You can also delete stored data in your browser settings.
4. Changes to this cookie policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect technical changes, legal requirements or changes to our infrastructure. The latest version is always published on this page.
